I am writing a field guide,"Beetles of Eastern North America" for Princeton University Press that will cover 1,400 species in color. This book is part of the same series that includes Dave Wagner's caterpillar books and Dennis Paulson's recent odonate tomes. I would like to use your image of Texania campestris on BugGuide.

Unfortunately, there is no photo budget for the field guide, but I can promise you a copy of the book when it is published within the next two years and my eternal gratitude! Might you be willing to contribute this image to the book?

I am new to your newsletter but I am enjoying it very much. I just became a customer, buying a Nature's Sunshine product and I must say it starting helping me right away. Your photos are wonderful, and I so enjoyed seeing the wildlife and your family. I am an animal and bird lover myself so really enjoyed these pictures. I have been to VA several times with my huisband who went to college in Blacksburg and we have been to Lynchburg and had friends there. It is beautiful country out there. I couldn't believe it when I saw it was only one acre. Hard to believe you have all of that action there. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Just to say that I am viewing your site from England. I used to work with your neighbour Ken a long time ago. We both enjoy photography and we often exchange pictures. I have been amazed by the variety of wildlife in your part of the world. I like your pictures very much and wonder what equipment you use?
