Female Black-throated Blue Warbler
This warbler was eating a poke berry and flew into the window only a foot from the branch. It was upside down when Randal saw it so he went out and sat her up in a protected area beneath the Poke Weed. She remained in shock for almost an hour and then flew off. The really odd thing is that the only other sighting of this bird we've had here was on the same day six years ago. It was a
Male Black-throated Blue Warbler. What a contrast between male and female.
